Introduction

The Master of Psychology program is more than just an academic pursuit; its true value lies in how effectively it addresses learners' personal and professional development while aligning with the evolving demands of the global mental health landscape. By integrating the rigorous academic standards of Qualifi with the practical, applied focus of Swiss educational models, the program offers a well-rounded and immersive learning experience. Upon graduation, learners will earn:
  • Master of Psychology from the Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI Swiss).
  • Level 7 Diploma in Psychology from Qualifi, recognized by Ofqual (UK.Gov).
Program Structure

The program consists of 6 modules and a Master’s Capstone Project, totaling 180 UK/90 ECTS Credits, lasting a minimum of 1.5 years.

First stage – Mandatory modules from Level 7 Ofqual UK.Gov Awarding Body

After each module, learners will take an ending exam. The end-of-module exams are application-oriented essays to help learners review knowledge, apply knowledge in the workplace, and improve the practical environment.

  1. Psychoanalysis and Mental Health: Learners will explore psychoanalytic approaches to address mental health challenges effectively.
  2. Exploring Psychology: Learners will examine foundational psychological concepts and their real-world applications.
  3. Cognitive and Biological Psychology: Learners will study the relationship between cognitive processes, brain function, and behavior.
  4. Qualitative Research Methodology: Learners will develop skills to design, analyze, and interpret qualitative research in psychology.
  5. Social and Cultural Psychology and Psychology of Human Development: Learners will explore how cultural and developmental factors influence human behavior.
  6. Rehabilitation Psychology: Learners will study strategies to support psychological recovery and improve quality of life.

During the completion of learning modules, eUni Switzerland's automated online learning system allows students to take competency assessments to obtain an e-Professional Certificate, which is integrated into the system as an optional feature. Students can request a hard copy if needed. The Professional Certificate provides a detailed record of the competencies the student has achieved.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the entry requirements, candidates applying to the program are also assessed for their suitability by the admissions committee before joining the program to ensure that they can acquire and benefit from the program.

Entry requirements:

To enroll this program, learners must possess one of the criteria below:

  • A Bachelor’s qualification in Majors from accredited universities;
  • Or a Level 6 EQF diploma or equivalent. Level 6 Diploma must be from organizations that are authorized to issue qualifications and have been accredited.
English requirements:

If a learner is not from a predominantly English-speaking country, proof of English language proficiency must be provided.

  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 or equivalent;
  • Or A minimum TOEFL score of 101 or IELTS 6.5; Reading and Writing must be at 6.5 or equivalent.
