Study with UK Universities
Most universities accept Ofqual credits for advanced entry, allowing students the flexibility to choose a university for full-time studies over a shorter duration.
Additionally, many universities provide part-time study options, either through day release, evening classes, or distance learning. Some institutions may even offer weekend workshops.
It's advisable to confirm these options with your chosen university by visiting the 'Find a University' link. However, it's important for students to understand that these are general guidelines, and they should always verify the specific requirements with their preferred university or a local university agent before applying.
Numerous universities offer part-time or evening programs, so students should explore these possibilities with their preferred institutions first.
Study with UK universities based overseas:
Some UK universities have established overseas campuses and may offer advanced entry options to local students for their programs.
These campuses are located in various countries, including Dubai, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and more. Students are encouraged to check locally for information regarding these arrangements.
For instance, there are multiple UK campuses in the UAE, as detailed on the Guide2Dubai website link.
Similarly, examples of other locations with UK campuses include Hong Kong, Cyprus, Mauritius, and various parts of South Asia.
International students aiming to pursue studies in the UK can also visit the NARIC website to assess equivalencies link.
Study with non-UK universities:
Students might prefer studying at institutions closer to their home countries or pursuing qualifications outside of the UK. For instance, numerous universities in Australia, India, and Canada offer distance learning programs and may recognize equivalent UK qualifications on an individual basis.
In the USA, universities usually accept students with advanced entry from the UK and consider equivalences. However, it's important to note that policies can vary significantly between regions and universities.
Study for an AMBA MBA:
The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is a membership organization that accredits and maintains the highest international standards for MBA programs.
A number of UK universities are members and provide distance learning options. While direct credit transfer might not be possible, admission can be secured through the E-University at Level 6 or 7, along with meeting the specific entry requirements of the desired university.
It is advisable for students to review the regulations of their chosen university in advance.
